THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS

 

Storage work pays off for Lake San Marcos Kiwanis - Cleaning out unwanted items from a storage shed or attic is often a thankless, unrewarding chore.  However, Pat Haugen, our secretary, “dug up” an unexpected treasure while doing so recently.  She met Dave Haller of San Marcos Mini-Storage who said his organization is looking for worthy charities to make a donation to.  After a short discussion, Dave decided to donate to our Kiwanis Club.  Dave attended this meeting to make the donation official.  Our board of directors happily accepted Dave’s contribution.  This contribution was used to support Cub Scouts Pack #662 with their storage needs.
